“Habitat” is a series of composited images from all corners of man and nature, from cities to mountains, from aquariums to hotels. I began to cross the imagery creating a new, controlled environment. We see no people, but the evidence of man is in every image. Hiding, fighting or complementing the construct, the recognizable abstraction pulls the viewer in. Trying to define the elements presented, we find movement, color and placement of the structural details guiding the eye through the frame, identifying trees, water, lights and more in this recognizable equivalent.
